Why did Barack Obama go to Trinity United Church of Christ, with Jeremiah Wright as his pastor?  

While most people just complain about divisiveness, but do nothing, Obama got his hands dirty working with the people.  Yes, he went where the people were.  So did Jesus.  Since when is that a bad thing?  Do we really want a political leader who washes his or her hands of every flawed person?  We are ALL flawed!

Yesterday Obama separated himself publicly from Jeremiah Wright because Wright has intentionally continued to amplify publicly some divisive beliefs.  Obama specifically stated that he disagrees with these beliefs.

I believe Barack Obama made the right decision when he chose to work among the people and to show love and forgiveness, and I believe he made the right decision when he stood up yesterday to denounce Wright's divisive statements.
